The conspirators met on the day of the meeting of the senate, because they would not be suspected. They concealed daggers in their clothes to kill Caesar with. They surrounded his chair
as if asking for something. One of them did something to Caesar's garment, and Casca struck Caesar. Caesar was killed by them.
